Finding The Ideal Draw Weight for Your Bow

Hi, archery enthusiasts!

Glad you chose archery, The first thing you need to determine is the right draw weight for your bow.

Draw weight is the force required to pull the bowstring at full draw. Finding the right draw weight is critical because it affects your comfort, accuracy, and overall archery experience.

For Junior Archers (ages 8-17). Everything should be easy and fun as you learn.
Suggest Junior start with a draw weight between 10 - 30 lbs, depending on your size and strength.

For Female Archers(15-19+). It’s about finding that sweet spot where you can shoot comfortably and confidently.
Suggest ladies consider starting with a draw weight between 16 to 25 lbs, depending on your size and strength.

For Male Archers(15-19+). It’s not about lifting weights but enjoying the sport!
Suggest ladies consider starting with a draw weight between 20 to 45 lbs, depending on your build and strength.

Choosing your draw weight is like finding the perfect pair of shoes—it should feel just right. It’s not just about hitting the target but enjoying every arrow you release. Happy shooting and may your arrows always fly true! 🏹
